So how does one get eco-friendly involved?

Using  Solar, Green, or Earth Friendly products is a way to protect your home, your family and decrease your footprint on the environment.

There are many Green websites on the internet that offer information that is useful for all of us and many websites have cropped up to fill the ever-growing green movement. This guide will offer you a  vast array of environmental websites full of information and environmental resources. Everywhere you look, read, watch, or shop there seems to be a proliferation of green or eco-friendly news.  Here are a few I find interesting and some you may not have heard of yet.

First off, thank you for checking out Daily Fuel Economy Tip.
I decided to start this site for two reasons:

  1. I’m frugal and really enjoy saving money.
  2. It really is about time that we start to pay attention to easy ways we can save fuel.
The great thing about saving fuel is the fact that you can really make a noticeable difference by just making slight changes to your driving habits, by keeping up on your vehicle’s maintenance and by being a smart driver.
It’s really not much more complicated than that.
Hopefully this site will allow you to pick up a few tips, remind you of things you know you should be doing but aren’t, and will help a lot of people save a bunch of money and a lot of gas.

Founder and Editor-in-Chief, Starre Vartan

Why Eco Chick?
Starre founded Eco Chick in October of 2005 with the idea that women who cared about the planet needed a place of their own on the web. At the time, most environmental blogs were guy-oriented, and very serious, and Starre thought that while discussion of scientific issues was important, consumer action would be second only to policy shifts in protecting the environment and creating a more sustainable culture. Enabling individuals to clean up their lives also gives each and every person an opportunity to realize their impact natural environment, a principle imperative to real change.

Frugal for Life was started 4 years ago in a couple different inceptions over the years, this is the current concept of FFL. I originally started this site to keep track of all the good tips and websites I came across as I led a ‘life on less’, now I hope to take the site in a new direction.

Trying to live “off the grid” as much as possible — right in the middle of the city — Colin and family began to scale back their lives in stages. One of those stages jettisoned disposable paper products, including … well, you know.

It's the handiwork of Gloria Dawson, who appeared one Friday evening and became employee #1 and as photo editor, is truly a climate change witness. It's the handiwork of Dan Shapley, whose environmental stories about our magical Hudson River Valley so moved me over the years, he had to become our news editor. And of Karen Berner, whose love of real food informs her work as food editor. And of Brian C. Howard, an eco-warrior, home and tips editor, and builder of his own social pyramid in cyberspace.
