Solar Centurion Halogen Security Lights
This solar powered outdoor security light is a bright (over 600 lumen) Halogen Security Light that installs easily where utility wiring is impractical or to expensive. The light bulb is replaceable at any lighting or hardware store. A patented PASSIVE INFRARED MOTION DETECTOR detects activity up to 23m/75 feet away turns the light on. When activated, the Solar Centurion throws a flood light into the target area for up to 3 minutes or as long as there is movement in the area. Setup/Care

Solar Centurion Halogen Security Lights can be mounted on vertical surfaces with the ¾" stainless steel screws provided. The Solar Panel can be detached and mounted with the 1¼" stainless steel screws provided up to 12' away from the light for positioning in sunlight. Lights come ready to use, and there is no training necessary. The Solar Centurion comes with everything you need to put it to work right out of the box.
How it Works
The Solar Centurion has all the benefits of added light, without the need for extra wiring. That is because the Solar Centurion is powered by a rechargeable battery that is charged by sunlight. During the day the solar panel converts sunlight into electricity and stores it in the built-in rechargeable battery. The Solar Centurion's light is triggered by a passive infrared motion detector. When activated, it throws a flood of light into the area where the lamp is directed. The duration of the light can be set to stay on from as little as 30 seconds, one minute or as long as a minute and a half. As an added feature, it has a built-in siren that you can set to go off. The solar panel is detachable so you can position it for optimum light exposure with its 12 ft. cord. Lights for up to 1.5 mins., or as long as there is movement in the area.

Setup/Care
Make sure that the solar panel is not going to be affected by any other source. Otherwise the light will not illuminate at dusk. Clean the module regularly with a damp towel to guarantee optimum performance of the solar panel. Do not use any type of solvent for cleaning and be careful not to put too much pressure on the module while cleaning.

If you have an outdoor shed, boathouse, or other area without electricity and want an alternative with having to run costly wiring throughout, then the solar charged shed light system is a perfect fit. All hardware and instructions included make this system very easy and quick to set up. If you have an area where you need enough light to find a tool or put items away this is an excellent affordable option. We do not recommend the shed light system for an area where you need exceptionally bright light.
